Art of
Sharing
Paintings by artist Dale Cook, based on photographs by the
Rev. Marian Lucas Jefferies, Carolyn Vanderlip (PWRDF) and
Heather Plett
(CFGB) are available from the artist. The paintings all depict
life in African and Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India and Sri
Lanka where a stable food supply is often illusive. A
single painting sold at silent auction during the Diocesan Synod last June
was the inaugural Art of Sharing event in support of the Canadian FoodGrains
Bank (CFGB) through the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF).
Since then, Dale has created more works of art based on the same theme.
These paintings were hung for public viewing at the Kennebecasis Public
Library in December, 2009 and more public viewing opportunities are planned
in the future. Check here often for updates. Dale
